Hieronim - Social digital library app

About the project

Hieronim is a web application designed for social and discussion groups focused on exploring works of culture and art in the form of ebooks, audiobooks, and movies. The application is also dedicated to teachers and their students, who can use remote learning for effective work. Users can leave comments in selected places and highlight text in ebooks or specific timestamps in audiobooks and movies, and then save them as bookmarks with titles. Managing bookmarks allows for browsing, editing, deleting, and directly jumping to the marked location. The application enables the creation of social groups and subgroups focused on even more specific topics. In the panel, members can browse cultural works available only to them, view recently added comments and posts, and check the group's real-life meeting place and schedule. Each user's individual homepage is a unique management center. It displays the latest items and a feed from the groups they joined - to make the application user-friendly and comfortable to use.
